Emily Murphy is a registered physiotherapist who is a graduate of Queen’s University where she received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degree; she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. During her time at McMaster, Emily volunteered at a spinal cord injury rehabilitation centre and developed a strong passion for assisting individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their exercise goals. As a physiotherapist, Emily’s treatment approach stems from using therapeutic exercise to optimize function as she has learned through work, volunteer, and personal experiences playing sports and competitive dancing. Emily believes in an evidence-based practice approach to therapy, and is interested in advancing her treatment skills to reflect the always growing field of physiotherapy. As a result, she has taken continuing education courses in concussion rehabilitation and acupuncture and hopes to continue furthering her skill set. During her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family, knitting and making pizza!
Alisha Mistry

Alisha graduated from Brunel University in London, UK, with a Masters in Physiotherapy, after completing a bachelor’s with Honours degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
During her time in the UK, Alisha worked alongside Physiotherapists in a variety of settings, providing her with valued experience in treating all ages and physical backgrounds. In particular, Alisha takes pride in her time spent in the ICU at a major London hospital, experience working as an exercise rehabilitation supervisor in a Parkinson’s Disease exercise program, and her time as a player developmental coach/mentor to basketball athletes.
Alisha strives to build a strong rapport with each patient throughout their rehabilitation process. She focuses on utilizing an evidence-based and patient-centered approach in her care which are centered around manual hands-on therapy, modalities, and personalized exercise prescription. More significantly, Alisha emphasizes the importance of educating patients about their conditions, while providing them with the tools to take control of their own health.
When not in clinic, Alisha enjoys going on hikes with her sisters, keeping up with new shows and documentaries and hanging out with her family, friends, and her cats.
Dr. Ledia Attia
Chiropractor
BSc HKin. (Hons), DC. Contemporary Medical Acupuncture
Dr. Ledia Attia holds an Honours Bachelor of Sciences specializing in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. With a passion for preventative and alternative healthcare, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. In addition, Dr. Attia is trained in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.
Ledia utilizes a combination of treatment approaches including neurofunctional acupuncture, muscle release therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping therapy, as well as rehabilitative exercise to achieve your goal.
Dr. Attia’s focus lies in identifying and correcting deficient movement patterns to optimize performance. She is passionate about providing evidence-based, functional solutions that keep you doing the things you love.
