Dr. Christopher Gordon-Tennant
Chiropractor

Dr. Chris Gordon-Tennant graduated from the University of Western Ontario obtaining an Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree then went on to complete his education from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). There he was elected Class President in his 3rd and 4th years of study and was an active member of student council. He also received two awards for his hard work and contributions to the school. Dr. Chris also participated in interviewing prospective students into the chiropractic program for several years. On top of his studies at CMCC, Dr. Chris took additional courses to become certified in Active Release Technique®️, Thompson Technique as well as completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University.
Being very overweight as a child and teenager, Dr. Chris took a special interest in exercise and nutrition and became a personal trainer during his Chiropractic studies and achieved the status of a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Dr. Chris decided to become a chiropractor to improve the quality of life of those around him, enabling people to enjoy the activities that they once did before. He also loves seeing the improvement of patients before they leave his office and educating them on the prevention of future injury.
Dr. Cam Tranchell
Chiropractor
Dr. Tranchell began his academic career with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree , double majoring in ecology/evolutionary biology and human biology from the University of Toronto: St. George. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
His endless fascinations with the complexities of the human body drive him to continue learning new and more effective treatments. Dr. Tranchell cross-refers and collaborates extensively with medical doctors, and always makes sure to honor the unique individuality of each of his patients with a fully customized approach to care.

Shawn Gargoum
Chiropractor
Dr. Shawn Gargoum is a board-certified chiropractor, having graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with Cum Laude distinction and Clinic Honours. Previous to chiropractic school, Dr. Gargoum attended The University of Western Ontario, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology while maintaining Dean’s List status. Dr. Gargoum is currently enrolled at the University of McMaster and is a Master’s of Rehabilitation Science candidate.
Dr. Gargoum is a diversified practitioner, providing treatment consisting of myofascial release, chiropractic adjustments, movement assessment, exercise prescription and nutritional counselling. Dr. Gargoum also provides neurofunctional acupuncture, earning post-graduate certification through The McMaster University Continuing Health Science Education Department. Additionally, Dr. Gargoum has taken additional certification in providing care and management for those patients who suffer from concussion
When not in clinic, Dr. Gargoum enjoys chasing after his two young children, spending family time at the cottage, and going for long, frustrating walks on the golf course.
Shirin Thakkar

Shirin has 22 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy, having obtained his bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from the University in India in 1998. He has accrued vast experience in many disciplines of physiotherapy throughout his extensive career. Shirin became a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario in 2015. Shirin has strong experience with all aspects of outpatient orthopaedic treatments. He also has extensive experience with motor vehicle accidents, neurological rehabilitation, geriatric care and cardio-respiratory conditions.
Shirin treats a variety of patients ranging from acute to chronic conditions and tries to obtain more-than-optimal results using evidence and education-based treatment plans. He has been specializing in therapeutic physiotherapy treatments including: manual therapy, physiotherapeutic modalities, individualized programs which comprises of therapeutic exercises and client education.
As he is specifically trained in various treatment techniques, he is also multi-lingual in several languages including: English, Hindi & Gujarati. Shirin continues to provide excellent treatment techniques as he is motivated to improve his patient’s overall quality of health. He has always had compassion towards helping people and educating them on the importance of health, wellness, quality of life and healthy lifestyles
Dr. Allan Drayton
Dr. Allan Drayton attended the University of Ottawa for four years studying Biochemistry. In his final year, he decided to further his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Robert Kilgannon Memorial Award. A year later, he completed the Medical Acupuncture Provider course at McMaster University. He has been practicing for 13 years and in 2020 and 2012 , he graduated from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Academy as well as the Royal Canadian College of Massage therapy respectively. Dr. Drayton enjoys using a variety of techniques to treat different conditions not limited to chronic pain, sport injuries, trauma, and stress.
Corey Hafner
Physiotherapist

Corey Hafner graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland with a Masters in Physical Therapy, after completing a Specialized Honours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association in good standing.
Corey has a passion for helping people, while empowering them to contribute to their own health. She takes time to find the root of a person’s problem and cooperatively with them creates a personalized treatment plan to address their immediate concerns and prevent relapses. Once their conditions have been rehabilitated, Corey helps her patients realize their full potential and improve their quality of life.
In clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes an evidence-based approach that involves comprehensive assessment, hands on manual therapy, modalities, exercise prescription, medical acupuncture, and patient education to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
When not in clinical practice, Corey enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her growing family.
Alisha Mistry

Alisha graduated from Brunel University in London, UK, with a Masters in Physiotherapy, after
completing a bachelor’s with Honours degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
During her time in the UK, Alisha worked alongside Physiotherapists in a variety of settings,
providing her with valued experience in treating all ages and physical backgrounds. In particular,
Alisha takes pride in her time spent in the ICU at a major London hospital, experience working
as an exercise rehabilitation supervisor in a Parkinson’s Disease exercise program, and her
time as a player developmental coach/mentor to basketball athletes.
Alisha strives to build a strong rapport with each patient throughout their rehabilitation
process. She focuses on utilizing an evidence-based and patient-centered approach in her care
which are centered around manual hands-on therapy, modalities, and personalized exercise
prescription. More significantly, Alisha emphasizes the importance of educating patients about
their conditions, while providing them with the tools to take control of their own health.
When not in clinic, Alisha enjoys going on hikes with her sisters, keeping up with new shows
and documentaries and hanging out with her family, friends, and her cats.
Sean Power
Physiotherapist
Sean Power achieved his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Western University, after graduating with honours in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. During these degrees, he worked as a personal trainer providing in person and online sessions to general population clients as well as athletes of all calibre including hockey, rugby, volleyball, cheerleading, lacrosse, basketball, swimming, cricket, etc.
Sean focuses on treating the person in front of him and enjoys getting to know his patients. A strong therapeutic relationship often guides creativity throughout the rehab process as he has a passion for helping people understand their true capacity. Sean utilises hands on manual therapy, paired with exercise, modalities, and education that is personalised to the individual to achieve goals set out as a team.
When not in clinical practice Sean enjoys trying new foods, travelling, and playing sports/exercising with friends.
Wlodek
Licensed Physiotherapist
Wlodek is a Licensed Physiotherapist, with almost 3 decades of experience in the field of manual therapy and over 60 certifications and courses in various natural healing methods in Canada and Europe. He is compassionate, committed to helping patients manage pain and injuries. Skillful in merging and integrating healing methods from different fields together, including principles of various relaxation techniques, along with meditation practice, to provide customized treatment for each client. In his spare time, Wlodek is interested is sailing, artistic photography and philosophy.
Sami Samdani

Sami Samdani earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, following his completion of a Specialized Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University. With a deep-rooted passion for helping people, Sami’s approach to physiotherapy is focused on understanding each individual’s needs and empowering them to achieve their optimal health. His commitment to holistic care is evident in his comprehensive treatment philosophy, which integrates evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, and patient education.

Manu

Manu is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from the
University of Pittsburgh. She has been working as a Physiotherapist for over 15 years in various practice settings. She has treated patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Manu’s philosophy is to empower her patients with effective ways of prevention through patient education while treating their injuries with advanced Manual Therapy Techniques. She believes in a client-centered approach in rehabilitation by formulating tailor-made programs to help patients achieve their maximum potential. Manu has constantly engaged herself in continuing education and evidence-based practice by attending various courses and workshops.
Going through a high risk pregnancy herself and being surprised at how few resources there seemed to be at the time, Manu decided to pursue her passion in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She has attended various Pelvic Health courses and uses biopsychosocial approach to create positive patient experiences that align with their unique situations.
Manu likes to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle and outside of the clinic, you will find her enjoying running, baking and exploring new places with her husband and son.
Maureen
Registered Massage Therapist
Maureen did her learnings at Canadian College of Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy and earned her diploma from Kikkawa College in October 2020. Maureen has had experience in a variety of areas from volunteering in multiple sports events, outreaches, and placements in addition to her clinical experience during her time in college.
Her goal is to help her clients achieve the same results whether it is for relaxation or impairment-based treatment or both. As she continues to work as a Massage Therapist, she will continue to take additional courses to incorporate more modalities in her treatment.
Maureen specializes in Swedish Massage, deep tissue, myofascial therapy, pre-natal and post-natal massages.
When Maureen is not working, she enjoys cooking and being outside with her son Zaki.
Shohei Miyauchi
Athletic Therapist.
Shohei is an accomplished Athletic Therapist with a strong sports medicine background, dedicated to enhancing athletic performance.
He has spent the past 10 years providing top-tier care to a number of professional sports teams, including his current role as the First Team Athletic Therapist for the 2017 MLS Cup Champions, Toronto FC. He has had the opportunity to work alongside other professional sports teams including FC Edmonton and the Edmonton Eskimos.
His educational background includes an Advanced Athletic Therapy program at Mont Royal University and a Sports Medicine degree from the University of Tsukuba, Japan.
As a previous athlete himself, Shohei understands the importance of human movement and applies
these principles of Athletic Therapy to his everyday care.
Osei Tawia
Registered Massage Therapist
Osei started his career by attending the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Humber College. After graduating, he was eager to learn more about the muscles, joints and tissues of the human body. He went on to continue his education at Centennial College for Massage Therapy. Osei has a strong passion to help his clients see results. He utilizes his background in remedial exercises, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy to have patients feeling their best.
Khan Khounxay
Registered Massage Therapist
Khan Khounxay is a RMT who holds a Bachelor of Science (Specialized Honours) degree from York University in Kinesiology and a diploma in Massage Therapy from RCCMT. Khan has a strong understanding on a variety of health and fitness related topics.
Khan is trained in soft tissue therapies. He uses a wide variety of techniques and treatment options such as joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, progressive rehabilitation exercises, and joint/motor control patterns. Through the years, he has also developed a keen interest in the treatment of knee/shoulder injuries in addition to neck and back pain complaints.
Jeffrey Haase

Jeffrey Haase is a seasoned Registered Massage Therapist with a background in personal
training and the wellness industry spanning over a decade. His career began over 10 years ago,
driven by a passion to guide clients through their wellness journey.
Specializing in fascial stretch therapy, static and decompression cupping, as well as the
proficient use of Graston tools, Jeffrey is adept at tailoring treatments to suit individual
requirements. His focus lies in rehabilitation, diligently addressing injuries and chronic
conditions to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility, and is well versed in a multitude of
populations.
Jeffrey’s dedication to staying at the forefront of his field drives him to continuously expand his
skill set, embracing novel techniques and methodologies to foster improved mobility, range of
motion, and overall wellness for his clients, thereby playing a pivotal role in injury prevention
and rehabilitation.

Napier has been practicing Massage Therapy for over 4 years. His practice has been focused on Motor Vehicle Accidents as well as rehabilitation. He incorporates General Swedish Techniques, Myofascial release as well as Deep Tissue Massage.

Emily Murphy

Emily Murphy is a registered physiotherapist who is a graduate of Queen’s University where she received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degree; she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. During her time at McMaster, Emily volunteered at a spinal cord injury rehabilitation centre and developed a strong passion for assisting individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their exercise goals. As a physiotherapist, Emily’s treatment approach stems from using therapeutic exercise to optimize function as she has learned through work, volunteer, and personal experiences playing sports and competitive dancing. Emily believes in an evidence-based practice approach to therapy, and is interested in advancing her treatment skills to reflect the always growing field of physiotherapy. As a result, she has taken continuing education courses in concussion rehabilitation and acupuncture and hopes to continue furthering her skill set. During her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family, knitting and making pizza!

Tiffany has been an RMT for over 10 years, however her interest in the health field began long
before becoming an RMT. Her passion has always been in the health and fitness industry
alongside working with others.
Tiffany has worked with a variety of patients including children, athletes, people with disabilities,

Over the years Tiffany has collaborated with an array of practitioners to help enhance her skills.

Mireille Momdjian is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor joining Apex Physiotherapy & Chiropractic. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine’s 4 year doctorate program along with her internship that included a year on their Fertility shift at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. She is passionate about providing evidence-based individualized care while helping her patients to get to the root cause of their concerns.
Mireille prioritizes patients’ health goals while providing comprehensive treatment plans. The modalities she uses to treat her patients include: dietary and lifestyle modification, acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy and nutraceuticals. She also offers detailed diet analysis, customized meal plans, and supplement list assessment.
Mireille is also certified in cosmetic facial rejuvenation acupuncture to help the skin look brighter and smoother, while reducing fine lines. Her cosmetic acupuncture treatments include facial acupuncture with LED light therapy and facial cupping/massage.

Kat has had a strong background in health and wellness, working in the fitness field for over a decade, including coaching and competing in various strength sports and martial arts, with a focus on biomechanics, movement and alignment. With a passion for preventative and alternative healthcare, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. In addition, Dr. Attia is trained in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.
Ledia utilizes a combination of treatment approaches including neurofunctional acupuncture, muscle release therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping therapy, as well as rehabilitative exercise to achieve your goal.
