Dr. Christopher Gordon-Tennant

Chiropractor

BMSc. (Hons)., CSCS., ART®️, DC. Contemporary Medical Acupuncture

Dr. Chris Gordon-Tennant graduated from the University of Western Ontario obtaining an Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree then went on to complete his education from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). There he was elected Class President in his 3rd and 4th years of study and was an active member of student council. He also received two awards for his hard work and contributions to the school. Dr. Chris also participated in interviewing prospective students into the chiropractic program for several years. On top of his studies at CMCC, Dr. Chris took additional courses to become certified in Active Release Technique®️, Thompson Technique as well as completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University.

Being very overweight as a child and teenager, Dr. Chris took a special interest in exercise and nutrition and became a personal trainer during his Chiropractic studies and achieved the status of a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Dr. Chris decided to become a chiropractor to improve the quality of life of those around him, enabling people to enjoy the activities that they once did before. He also loves seeing the improvement of patients before they leave his office and educating them on the prevention of future injury.

Dr. Deborah Kudjerski

Chiropractor

Dr. Deborah graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and then went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).

Growing up she was a competitive dancer and swimmer, and a recreational tennis player. Now, she is an active member in her community as the President of Bridlewood Tennis Club, and the President of the Scarborough Tennis Federation. She loves helping people get back to the activities they love to do.

Chiropractic care has always been part of her life and she is happy to be the one providing care for others now. She uses a combination of the best evidence and her clinical experience to help reduce your pain and improve your function. Her treatments may include hands-on therapy (adjustments, mobilizations, and soft tissue therapy), rehabilitation exercises, acupuncture, laser therapy, and/or shockwave therapy. She also may recommend additional products such as braces or foot orthotics to supplement her treatments.

From teens, to weekend warriors, to the elderly, Dr. Deborah provides hands-on pain relief from muscle and joint complaints to help you feel your best.

Dr. Idris Khan

Chiropractor

BSc., DC

Idris Khan graduated from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree after completing his Bachelor of Science at McMaster University. Currently, he is also a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association in good standing.

Idris believes that an evidence-based approach focusing on patient education, spinal manipulation therapy, soft tissue therapy, modalities and rehabilitative exercises will result in the best outcomes for his patients.

When not in a clinical setting, Idris enjoys playing competitive sports, spending time with family and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Corey Hafner

Physiotherapist

BA (Hons), MScPT, Medical Acupuncture Provider

Corey Hafner graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland with a Masters in Physical Therapy, after completing a Specialized Honours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association in good standing.
Corey has a passion for helping people, while empowering them to contribute to their own health. She takes time to find the root of a person’s problem and cooperatively with them creates a personalized treatment plan to address their immediate concerns and prevent relapses. Once their conditions have been rehabilitated, Corey helps her patients realize their full potential and improve their quality of life.

In clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes an evidence-based approach that involves comprehensive assessment, hands on manual therapy, modalities, exercise prescription, medical acupuncture, and patient education to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
When not in clinical practice, Corey enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her growing family.

Shirin Thakkar

Registered Physiotherapist

Shirin has 22 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy, having obtained his bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from the University in India in 1998. He has accrued vast experience in many disciplines of physiotherapy throughout his extensive career. Shirin became a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario in 2015. Shirin has strong experience with all aspects of outpatient orthopaedic treatments. He also has extensive experience with motor vehicle accidents, neurological rehabilitation, geriatric care and cardio-respiratory conditions.

Shirin treats a variety of patients ranging from acute to chronic conditions and tries to obtain more-than-optimal results using evidence and education-based treatment plans. He has been specializing in therapeutic physiotherapy treatments including: manual therapy, physiotherapeutic modalities, individualized programs which comprises of therapeutic exercises and client education.

As he is specifically trained in various treatment techniques, he is also multi-lingual in several languages including: English, Hindi & Gujarati. Shirin continues to provide excellent treatment techniques as he is motivated to improve his patient’s overall quality of health. He has always had compassion towards helping people and educating them on the importance of health, wellness, quality of life and healthy lifestyles

Emily Murphy

Registered Physiotherapist

MScPT, BSc.Kin Registered Physiotherapist

Emily Murphy is a registered physiotherapist who is a graduate of Queen’s University where she received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degree; she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. During her time at McMaster, Emily volunteered at a spinal cord injury rehabilitation centre and developed a strong passion for assisting individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their exercise goals. As a physiotherapist, Emily’s treatment approach stems from using therapeutic exercise to optimize function as she has learned through work, volunteer, and personal experiences playing sports and competitive dancing. Emily believes in an evidence-based practice approach to therapy, and is interested in advancing her treatment skills to reflect the always growing field of physiotherapy. As a result, she has taken continuing education courses in concussion rehabilitation and acupuncture and hopes to continue furthering her skill set. During her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family, knitting and making pizza!

Lydia Koduah Grindley

Registered Massage Therapist

Lydia Koduah Grindley is a results driven therapist who combines therapeutic pain management with relaxation massage. Combining traditional Swedish techniques with pressure points and stretch.

Napier Woo

Registered Massage Therapist

After graduating from University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Sciences degree, Napier pursued further education at Sutherland-Chan school of Massage Therapy.

Napier has been practicing Massage Therapy for over 4 years. His practice has been focused on Motor Vehicle Accidents as well as rehabilitation. He incorporates General Swedish Techniques, Myofascial release as well as Deep Tissue Massage.

Jacob Woldegabriel

Physiotherapist

Jacob earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2018. During his training, he has worked in a variety of settings spanning from intensive care, orthopaedic and stroke rehabilitation, and outpatient community care. After graduation he has continued to advance his clinical skills: becoming certified in acupuncture; completing multiple courses (and extensive self-study) in soft-tissue/trigger point release, athletic taping, and cupping therapy.

Jacob’s Physiotherapy philosophy is heavily geared towards empowering his patients with a thorough understanding of their impairments. “I think my favourite part of the job is fostering engagement through understanding. Seeing someone’s face light up when it all clicks; the sets and reps start to make more sense. I just feel like it’s the purest way to motivate someone – like, that’s true healing.”
